The British High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Iain Walker together with Dr. Charity Binka and the executives of the Chevening Alumni Association of Ghana formally welcomed the 2016 Chevening scholars after an exciting and successful year of study in the UK.
The 22 scholars received funding through the prestigious Chevening scholarship programme to pursue a one year masters course in the UK. During this welcome meeting, they received their Chevening completion certificates from the High Commissioner, shared positives aspects of the one year journey and how the knowledge and skills gained could be used in national development.
The High Commissioner used the opportunity to encourage the returning scholars to positively influence decisions and become agents of change in their diverse areas in Ghana.
